Chopper Spins Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Shoreline
An aircraft hovering near a crowded southern California coastline suddenly commenced twirling out of control, finally losing altitude and plunging into a line of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Footage posted on the internet show the helicopter beginning to twirl above Huntington Beach then falling in the direction of the perimeter of the coast, where it ends up lodged among palm trees and a set of stairs near the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
Local firefighters stated five individuals were taken to hospital comprising two who were in the aircraft and were âextracted safely from the crash siteâ following the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the pavement were harmed. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
